By Train
The best way to get to Camber Sands from London is to take the Southeastern train from London St Pancras International, London Bridge or Waterloo to Ashford International (37 min), then change onto Southern service to Rye (21 min). The tickets are available on national rail or trainline website. The average ticket price starts from £15 one way. When in Rye, take the bus 102 which stops in the village of Camber. The journey takes 20 min and cost £3 - £5 Alternatively, you can walk or cycle for 4,8 km or book a taxi for £15.
By Car
The distance between central London and Rye is 124 km and the journey takes about 2 hours. The route leads via A2 and M20.

Best time to go to Camber Sands is summer from June to August. Those months bring the most perfect weather to enjoy the life on the beach. If you travel to Camber Sands in summer, you’ll get to experience warm temperatures between 18°C to 22°C and the sea temperatures up to 17°C.
